Palm Beach and Jupiter Inshore Report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
March 2, 2024
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fantastic weather! Sunshine light winds, South Florida is living up to its paradise potential. Fish are happy as the sunshine's and water temperatures rise

Spanish mackerel have been on the attack. Schools of mackerel are roaming channel edges attacking bait schools. Live bait, Rapala x raps and DOA curl tails get the strike. The mackerel are ranging in size from 12 to 24 inches.

Monster bluefish are still prevalent throughout the inter coastal waterways. Top water Rapala skitter walks and DOA 3" shad tail creat strikes. The blues are hanging in pods, both sides of the tides produce great fishing.

Snook are still active along mangrove shorelines, due to the freshwater run off, the water temperatures have fallen, triggering snook to hang near muddy bottom areas. Rapala x raps great baits to entice strikes, live baits free lined with the tide get the drag screaming.

Bottom fishing near structure and channels has provided anglers with a plethora of species. Drum, snapper, grunts, pompano, barracuda just a few species anglers have been catching.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
